Lets assume you have already made it this far and as you can see this is what I see when I have clicked on CHAT from the forum.

This side shows the welcome with the default room that I entered and the time that I entered it.

This side shows the room choices and has click on drop down menus to show who is in what rooms.

This is the ADD ROOM button for those who want to create a room for their current logged in session. To do this, CLICK ADD and enter a room name of your choice. Also choose if you want it to be private or not. If you choose private no one else will be able to see it on the drop down menu or see who is in it on the list  on the right side. Once you created this room you need to enter it . After entering the room you can go to the menu on the right side and click on a Members name an send them an invitation to enter.

This is likely just the start of a short series of instructions on using this. It has a bunch of bells and whistles and until you experiment with it a little you will be somewhat limited to the customization it can let you do. No one can kill this but me, so don’t be afraid to experiment with the menus and options. Change your background, change your text size for easier reading, change the sounds if you don’t like what your hearing, and the list goes on. It is all up to you to make this a comfortable place to chat with other members.

 

NOW… On the topic of logging out of chat.

 

                Unless you tell this program you are done and ready to exit it will continue to tell the forum program that you are here. Or, at least until someone else logs in to chat and it releases you from its memory.

 

                Up in the top right hand corner there is a little round dot. If you put your mouse pointer on it it will show you a little (X) depicting the ability to log off the chat room. This is what you need to click before selecting any of the forum menu bar buttons insuring a complete log off from chat. Once doing this another box will appear in the center of the screen looking like this one.

 

On this box click the RED DOT in its upper right hand corner to complete the exit process.
